Our course levels

We provide a ladder of training from introductory counselling skills courses to professional qualifications in psychotherapy, as well as courses focused on specialist areas. Our courses divide into three categories:

Introductory & Intermediate courses

The introductory course is for those starting out to learn about counselling and psychotherapy. Upon successful completion of the Introduction to Counselling and Psychotherapy course a Certificate in Counselling Skills will be awarded. For those wanting to develop the counselling skills they have already gained we offer the Diploma in Counselling Skills.

Full Professional Qualifications

These courses are for those wishing to gain valuable clinical qualifications that will enable them to practice as psychodynamic or psychoanalytic psychotherapists, or to supervise counsellors and psychotherapists. In addition to professional recognition, the courses lead to postgraduate and MA qualifications, validated by the University of Roehampton.
