WPF Therapy is delighted to announce the appointment of Steve Davidson as the new Chair of the Board of Trustees.
Steve will take over as the Chair of Trustees from 11 September and replace Carol Rue who is retiring after six years.
WPF will be recruiting for new trustees later this year to ensure the Board of Trustees is operating with the right skills and diversity of expertise.

The Board of WPF Therapy consists of between 4 and 10 trustees, to whom the chief executive of the charity reports. Current Board members are as follows:
Steve Davidson (Chair)
Steve has significant senior leadership experience of NHS Mental Health Services – most recently as Director of two Clinical Academic Groups at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. He has trained in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and has a Professional Doctorate in Organisational change from Ashridge.
Clive Bowman (Treasurer)
Clive has had a long and varied career working as a senior accountant or finance director both in South Africa and UK in both commerce and industry; owning his own printing businesses; acting as consultant to various businesses and more recently, treasurer to Home Start Barnet and Age UK Islington. As treasurer, Clive has helped both charities with strategic thinking and planning.
Jennifer is a senior board-level executive with over 20 years’ experience in the private and public sector, in both interim and permanent roles. With a focus on organisations looking for growth and transformation, Jennifer has proven expertise in commercial strategy, marketing planning and product strategy. She currently provides consultancy services to start-ups, SMEs and enterprises, helping organisations to define and implement go-to-market strategies, build high performing teams and instil best practice. Jennifer is CIM-qualified and has an MBA from Warwick Business School.
Dr Rosalind Ramsay is a consultant psychiatrist and associate clinical director at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. Rosalind is committed to developing the community services she leads to best meet the needs of the individual service users. Rosalind is a trained coach and supports the development of future consultants in the Trust. Rosalind contributes to work by the Royal College of Psychiatrists to provide information about mental illness for the public.
Kate has 20 years experience of helping world class organisations embrace the potential of digital and innovation. She has led transformation, digital and innovation work at Citizens Advice, Cancer Research UK, Allen & Overy, Lloyds Banking Group, Reed Elsevier and others. Her approach to transformation is people focused and holistic (ways of working, mindset, behaviours, capabilities and technology). Kate is also passionate about mental health. She is training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy and volunteers at The Listening Plac.
Following a senior HR career in the corporate sector, Janet decided to move into consultancy/interim work encompassing both the private and not for profit sector. Her HR experience has included organisations with different backgrounds, of different sizes and complexity including those with overseas subsidiaries and has provided her with opportunities to learn from exceptional line managers and HR practitioners.
