New Programme Manager for Foundation Courses

New Programme Manager for Foundation Courses

We are delighted to welcome Sarah Westlake to the post of Programme Manager for the Foundation Courses. Sarah is a BACP accredited psychodynamic psychotherapist and trained at the Counselling Foundation, part of the former WPF network. With a background in TV production for over 20 years she uses visual imagery to bring psychodynamic theory to life. She works in private practice with couples and individuals, teaches on introductory psychodynamic courses and supervises clinical practice.

Sarah will manage all aspects of the Foundation in Counselling Skills Certificate, which has 4 intakes throughout the year, and the Diploma in Counselling Skills – Access Course, which has an intake each January. In addition to this responsibility Sarah teaches and supervises on the Clinical Qualification in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and is one of the Trainee Development Tutors for our first year Clinical Qualification trainees. Sarah revealed that she is pleased to be at WPF Therapy as “it is a training organisation with a great reputation and lively student group in the centre of the city I was born in and love”.

We look forward to a long and rewarding working relationship with Sarah.
