Supervisor/Tutor.

Training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy 

You are invited to apply for a Supervisor / Tutor post.  This is an opportunity to play a significant role in the training of psychodynamic psychotherapists.  This post is to supervise first year trainees.  You must a psycho­analytically or psycho­dynamically qualified and experienced psycho­therapist.  Ideally the appointee should be BPC registered, but accreditation with BACP or registration with UKCP (CPJA) is acceptable PROVIDED they are eligible for BPC. You will also have undertaken training in supervision or have appropriate experience of supervisory work over several years including experience of supervising groups.

Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Seminar Leader

We have a vacancy for a seminar leader to work on the Postgraduate Diploma/Clinical Qualification in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy starting in January 2020.  This is a four-year BACP validated training course leading to BPC, UKCP (CPJA) registration.

We are looking for a seminar leader to teach the following Module:

Human Development (mode M)

Term 2:  Tuesdays 2.00pm – 3.30pm

Term 3: Tuesdays 2.00pm – 3.30pm

You must be a qualified and experienced psychoanalytic or psychodynamic psychotherapist with a professional qualification in working with adults, accredited with BACP, or registered with UKCP(CPJA) or BPC.

Supervisor – Certificate in Supervision

We are currently recruiting for a Supervisor – Certificate in Supervision.  The Supervision course is designed to explore the theory and practice of supervision from a psychodynamic and psychoanalytic perspective. It is offered to experienced psychodynamic counsellors/psychotherapists, or psychoanalytic psychotherapist and integrative counsellors and psychotherapist with a substantial psychodynamic background who wish to train as supervisors. As part of WPF Therapy’s yearly placement intake there are opportunities for qualified Psycho­dynamic Therapists to join our Clinic. Volunteering at WPF Therapy

Library Volunteer

WPF Therapy has a bespoke in-house library and we are seeking volunteers to help run this library. Successful applicants will have good communication skills, a suitable level of technological ability, familiarity with using computers and Office, email and the internet, plus a willingness to familiarise themselves with the current library system. Some experience of working in a library, information centre or resource role is useful but not essential. For more information please contact humanresources@wpf.org.uk.
