Seminar Leader – Foundation Certificate in Counselling Skills – April 2020 

The WPF Foundation Certificate in Counselling Skills provides a grounding in basic skills of listening and responding and in counselling ethics. The course is designed both as a foundation for further training and also as a stand-alone training. We are currently recruiting for a Seminar Leader.  Applicants must be psycho­analytic psycho­therapists, group-analytic psychotherapists or psycho­dynamic psycho­therapists with teaching qualifications or significant teaching experience to lead the seminars.  You must be BACP accredited or registered with UKCP or BPC.  You will need to be able to demonstrate the application of principles of adult learning in groups.

Working Pattern:-

Part Time Post

Seminar Times:  Mondays 6.30pm-8pm

20 April 2020 – 29 June 2020; 7 September 2020 – 30 November 2020; 11 January 2021 – 1 March 2021

Salary:-

Salary: £34,103 pro rata

 Actual Salary: £2,631 (all inclusive)

Events Co-Ordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to join the WPF Therapy community at London Bridge where we provide psychotherapy training and professional development workshops for training and qualified counsellors any psychotherapists.  If you join us, you will be working alongside training and clinic staff, trainees and therapists.

You will be integral to the successful planning and delivery of our extensive CPD programme. You will provide support to ensure all events are carefully scheduled, flagging clashes and operational challenges, offering solutions and creative thinking. You will ensure that the marketing of events is effective and successful.  You will also duty manage events on Saturdays ensuring events are delivered to a high standard.

Working Pattern:-

Part Time Post

Weekly working hours:

21 hours to be worked across 3 days (to include Friday, Saturday)

Occasional Sundays will be required.

Salary:-

Salary: £35,000 – annual salary (pro rata)

Actual salary – £21,000

As part of WPF Therapy’s yearly placement intake there are opportunities for qualified Psycho­dynamic Therapists to join our Clinic. Volunteering at WPF Therapy

Library Volunteer

WPF Therapy has a bespoke in-house library and we are seeking volunteers to help run this library. Successful applicants will have good communication skills, a suitable level of technological ability, familiarity with using computers and Office, email and the internet, plus a willingness to familiarise themselves with the current library system. Some experience of working in a library, information centre or resource role is useful but not essential. For more information please contact humanresources@wpf.org.uk.
