Work Location:

Roles are based at our London Bridge office. Some roles may be offered as a combination of office and remote working.

We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

Vacancies:

.Clinic Manager- Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Training Clinic

(Clinical Services Directorate)

You will be an experienced manager able to work within a busy and dynamic team. You will have a proven track record of providing leadership and management of services within a health or social care service or an equivalent setting.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management for this clinic and the line management of the clinic team and therefore you will have proven people management skills, capable of building and leading high performing teams.

You will be able to work effectively and proactively with the team, requiring excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as the post holder is expected to liaise effectively and sensitively with a wide range of people, including senior management, clinicians, clients and external stakeholders. You will have excellent attention to detail when working with electronic clinical records and reporting systems to provide accurate reports to monitor and develop those services.

You will bring a positive ‘can do’ attitude to the role and be able to demonstrate drive, determination and ability to overcome ambiguity and the daily challenges of ‘management’.

As well as genuine opportunities for personal development you will have a voice in shaping our clinic services going forward leading, providing greater access for mental health support.

Work Hours:          28 hours across 4 days (Tuesday to Friday)

Salary:                    £35,111 (£43,889 full time equivalent) per annum

Seminar Leader (Co-Leading) ONLINE

Foundation Certificate in Counselling Skills (Mode 3)

Fixed Term: January 2022 – July 2022.  (Friday AM and 4 Saturdays)

This is a training and developmental opportunity and you are encouraged to apply for this co-leading role even if you have minimal teaching experience but if you are interested in developing teaching as part of your professional portfolio.  

The WPF Foundation Certificate in Counselling Skills provides a grounding in basic skills of listening and responding and in counselling ethics. The course is designed both as a foundation for further training and also as a stand-alone training.

This course is FULLY online.

Applicants must be psycho­analytic psycho­therapists, group-analytic psychotherapists or psycho­dynamic psycho­therapists with teaching qualifications or significant teaching experience to lead the seminars.  You must be BACP accredited or registered with UKCP or BPC.  You will need to be able to demonstrate the application of principles of adult learning in groups.

Seminar Times: Friday 9.15am – 10.45am plus 4 Saturdays

Saturdays will run between 10:00am and 4:00pm
1. Saturday 12th February 2022
2. Saturday 12th March 2022
3. Saturday 14th May 2022
4. Saturday 25th June 2022

Hours:  2.7 hours per week – term time only

Salary: £34,103 pro rata (Full Time Equivalent)

Seminar Leader

Brief Therapy (Year Two):  Fixed Term – April 2022 to July 2022.  

Clinical Qualification in Once Weekly Psychotherapy

Seminar Times: Tuesday 2.15pm-3.45pm

Hours:  2.7 hours per week, term time only

Salary: £34,103 pro rata – Full Time Equivalent.  Actual Salary: £708.00, all inclusive.  No holidays can be taken during term time.

WPF Therapy is in an exciting phase including a review of the programme to ensure that it is a contemporary and relevant psychodynamic training.  The training is pluralistic within the psychodynamic frame and applicants from different perspectives are are encouraged to apply.

In order to apply, you must be a qualified and experienced psychoanalytic or psychodynamic psychotherapist with a professional qualification in working with adults, accredited with BACP, or registered with UKCP(CPJA) or BPC.

Academic Standards Manager (Training Directorate)

Work Hours:  21 hours across 3 days (to include Mondays)

Salary:               £25,691 (£42,819 full time equivalent) per annum

The role is predominantly working online with some attendance at our offices at London Bridge.

We are looking for a qualified and experienced manager with higher education experience in quality and academic standards to join our training team at London Bridge.

WPF Therapy offers training in psychotherapy from introductory courses to full qualification.  The appointee will lead a small team and be accountable for the academic standards on all WPF training programmes, managing exam board processes and relations with the university and professional bodies, Student/Trainee support for programmes including managing learning resources and implementation and management of innovative strategies to develop the learning environment. This role has line management responsibility for the Learning Resources Centre staff, including academic tutors and reports to the Director of Studies.

This course is online for Term One and in our London Bridge Office (23 Magdalen Street, London, SE1 2EN) for Term Two and Three.
