We are currently recruiting for the following positions:

1 x Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Training Clinic
Based in London Bridge with flexibility for regular homeworking
Following a review of services an exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 Clinic Managers, responsible for our Initial Consultation, Time Limited and Group Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Clinics and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Training Clinic respectively.
You will be an experienced manager, able to work within a busy and dynamic team and have a proven track record of providing leadership and management of services within a health or social care service or an equivalent setting.
You will be responsible for the day to day operational management for these clinics and the line management of the clinic teams and therefore you will have proven people management skills, capable of building and leading high performing teams. You will be able to work effectively and proactively with teams off-site, requiring excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as the post holder is expected to liaise effectively and sensitively with a wide range of people, including senior management, clinicians, clients and external stakeholders. You will have excellent attention to detail when working with electronic clinical records and reporting systems to provide accurate reports to monitor and develop those services. You will bring a positive ‘can do’ attitude to the role and be able to demonstrate drive, determination and ability to overcome ambiguity and the daily challenges of ‘management’.
As well as genuine opportunities for personal development you will have a voice in shaping our clinic services going forward leading, providing greater access for mental health support.
Salary: £35,111.00 per annum (Full time equivalent £43,889.00 per annum).
Hours: 28 hours per week across 4 days. Working pattern will be discussed at interview

Seminar Leader – Research Seminars
Clinical Qualification in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
FIXED TERM April 2021 – April 2022
An opportunity to teach on a popular and highly-rated psychodynamic psychotherapy training.
Applicants should have a qualification in psychoanalytic or psychodynamic psychotherapy. All seminar leaders must be registered with either BPC, UKCP or BACP. All appointees must normally have completed a training eligible for BPC registration. They should also have a teaching/training qualification or provide evidence of considerable experience of teaching. For this module seminar leaders must have experience in research.
Contact Hours: 1.5 hours per week over 5 weeks (per delivery module). Total of 15 sessions, delivering the same 5 week module 3 times
Annual Salary: £34,103 p.a. – pro-rated (full time equivalent)
Actual Salary: £354 per 5 week module

Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Seminar Leader
April 2021 – Ontology
WPF Therapy has been offering its trainees a module in their final year on Ontology since the training first started in the 1970s. This is a unique module to WPF Therapy and continues to be one of the most rewarding parts of the training for participants. It is important that trainees are able to work with the whole being of their clients, including their emotional, physical, relational and social selves. This module brings together psychodynamic therapy with the very essence of what it means to be human. The module is a space to explore a wide range of themes as they effect our clients lives including love, power, being, mortality, spirituality, purpose and how our lives our changing in the 21st century as we become more and more digital.
Ontology (runs over 3 terms October – July)
Contact Hours: Fridays, 5.30pm – 6.50pm
This post is to start with the final term (ie term 3) of the academic year 2020-2021.
You must be a qualified and experienced psychoanalytic or psychodynamic psychotherapist with a professional qualification in working with adults, accredited with BACP, or registered with UKCP(CPJA) or BPC.
Annual Salary: Full time equivalent – £34,103 pa – pro rated
Actual Salary: £2125 (all inclusive) based on 30 weeks working

Foundation Certificate in Counselling Skills (Mode 4) ONLINE
April 2021 – February 2022
An opportunity to teach on a popular and highly rated counselling skills course.
The WPF Foundation Certificate in Counselling Skills provides a grounding in basic skills of listening and responding and in counselling ethics. The course is designed both as a foundation for further training and also as a stand-alone training. Courses are currently running on Zoom.
Applicants must be psychoanalytic psychotherapists, group-analytic psychotherapists or psychodynamic psychotherapists with teaching qualifications or significant teaching experience to lead the seminars. You must be BACP accredited or registered with UKCP or BPC. You will need to be able to demonstrate the application of principles of adult learning in groups.
Contact hours: – 1.5 hours per week over 30 weeks
Actual Salary: £2,631.00 (all inclusive). Full Time Equivalent £34,103.00 pro rata
