Death of Edward Martin

Death of Edward Martin

We received the sad news that Ted (Edward) Martin passed away on 2nd December 2019.

Ted was a valued, long term contributor to the work of WPF Therapy, as a supervisor, seminar leader and consultant. One of his primary involvements was with the supervision training at WPF Therapy, both in London and throughout the network of centres that previously existed. In this way he had an impact on many WPF training counsellors and psychotherapists. Ted also edited and contributed to some key texts on Supervision, including Supervising Psychotherapy: Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Perspectives (2001) and Supervision and the Analytic Attitude (2005).

Throughout his career at WPF Ted was an active member of the Society of Analytical Psychology (SAP) and of the British Association for Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Supervision (BAAPS).

We extend our condolences to his family.
