15 years of loving books

15 years of loving books

The WPF Therapy Reading Group will be entering its 15th year in 2019-2020 and the overall theme of the books presented in this year will celebrate the joys, vicissitudes and reflective possibilities of increasing maturity.

Over the years the reading group has introduced us to contemporary and ground-breaking texts, as well as re-introducing us to classic texts – and all viewed through the filter of psychoanalytic/psychodynamic understanding. Enjoyment, wisdom and wine has been shared and we hope to continue doing this for many years. Why not join us for the first book of the programme which will be The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro on Friday 18th October 2019, 7pm – 8.30pm. Stephen Crawford is looking forward to sharing his love of this book with you.

If you would like to present a book for others to discover, enjoy and discuss please contact jennifer.jones@wpf.org.uk.
